The Fifth District Youth Advisory Council consists of over two dozen high school students, ages 14-19, who live, work, or attend school in Ventura County’s Fifth District. The Commissioners and Alternates appointed to the Youth Advisory Council keep me advised of issues and concerns impacting youth in the Fifth District and Ventura County.

Participating in the Youth Advisory Council
The Youth Advisory Council meets one to two times per month between September and June. The Council identifies and discusses local issues relevant to youth, the Fifth District, and the County. Panel discussions and presentations from local experts are often included on the agendas. The Advisory Council provides feedback and perspective to me on issues identified by the Council.
